UNITY

My Unified Nonlinear Inference for Type Ia cosmologY (UNITY) is an analysis framework that allows smaller and more accurate cosmological uncertainties. It uses a Bayesian Hierarchical Model (implemented with Stan) that incorporates many different effects in the SN Ia data: outliers, population drift with redshift, selection effects, calibration, and others.

Example Work:

Union Through UNITY: Cosmology with 2,000 SNe Using a Unified Bayesian Framework

UNITY: Confronting Supernova Cosmology’s Statistical and Systematic Uncertainties in a Unified Bayesian Framework

SN Ia Standardization on the Rise: Evidence for the Cosmological Importance of Pre-maximum Measurements
