I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.
My research interests revolve around type Ia supernovae, and encompass astronomical observing (ground- and space-based), data reduction and calibration, and data science. I am co-PI of the SUbaru Supernovae with Hubble Infrared (SUSHI) HST program and Project Scientist for one of the WFIRST Science Investigation Teams.
I earned my Ph.D. in 2013 from the UC Berkeley Physics Department, where my adviser was Saul Perlmutter.
